A Spoken Poetry Single
Clementine Sky is a poem that was inspired by strange weather that overtook the city of San Francisco on September 9th 2020. This jarring event inspired me to capture my thoughts and fears via poetry. Later in the year, I launched a recording of the poem as a spoken word single across all major music platforms including Spotify, Youtube Music, Apple Music, and more!
Special thanks to Alexandre Carvalho who was the composer for this project.

Clementine Sky Lyrics
Clementine Sky
Is it time to sleep?
Should I stay in bed?
Is it time to weep?
Clementine Sky
Give me back the Sun
Keep the ash away
No this isn’t fun
Clementine Sky
Now it's afternoon
What could lurk beyond you?
You bring such a vibrant gloom
Clementine Sky
Send us home from Mars
Darkness has returned
But you have hidden all the stars
Clementine Sky
Will we meet again?
Are you one of many?
Will this ever end?
